History:
This light single-engine open-cockpit monoplane commenced life as a Taylor Monoplane. It was completed by Mr Bernard Webb and was registered for the first time on 26 August 1997. Initially it was to become Taylor Monoplane and registration ZK-CZV (c/n AACA 85) was reserved by the builder, Mr JS Wilkie of Inglewood. However, the project was not completed and it was sold to Mr A Farr of Hawera, who also did not complete the aircraft and it went to John Skinner of Feilding in 1974. Mr Bernard Webb finally completed the aircraft and fitted a round cowling as if the engine was a radial but it was in fact fitted with a converted Volkswagen and received the name Spider Webb. It later went to WJ Southee of Waikanae in January 2000 and was still airworthy in 2015.
