History:
In the 1930s Clyde Henry Weate, a taxi driver in Walgett, NSW commenced the construction of a single-seat light aircraft of his own design, this taking place in the Namoi motor garage in Fox Street. The fuselage was completed and covered with fabric, the undercarriage legs being installed but was then placed in storage in the roof of the garage during World War II. In about 1948 Mr Weate moved to Sydney and the aircraft remained in the garage. The Namoi Garage was demolished in 1964 and the aircraft was removed and broken up.
