History:
The Terrafly was an ultra-light aircraft designed and built to meet the provisions of ANO 95-10 and was aimed at providing pilots with an aircraft that flew with similar performance to the Santos Dumont Demoiselle. It was designed and constructed by Kevin McLeod as a simple to build and operate aircraft. Construction of the prototype was commenced in 1984. It was a three-axis control machine with a tailwheel undercarriage and a bare airframe with the engine above the pilot. Only the one example was completed and it became 10-0571 (c/n 1) when registered with Recreation Aviation Australia (RAA). It was never flown and eventually in 2006 it was donated to the South Australian Aviation Museum and placed on display.
