History:
In storage at the Moorabbin Air Museum is a collection of parts of an aeroplane called the Tait Flyer. The relics include what is believed to be a canard elevator of Wright Flyer configuration and parts of the undercarriage. It is believed the machine was built in an inner suburb of Melbourne in about 1911.
