History:
This aircraft was designed as a one-off by Rino Stoof of Cambridge, New Zealand in the late 1990s and was almost completed and is known to have got to the stage of engine runs. It was registered with the CAA of NZ but is not known to have been flown. It was of all-wood construction and wings and tailplane were removable for transport or storage. It was fitted with a Subaru 2000-cc EJ-20 four-cylinder engine driving a propeller through a Hintz gearbox. It was fitted with a ballistic recovery parachute.
It received the registration ZK-RYD (c/n 05/01) on 14 April 2005 but was cancelled from the Register on 8 May 2013. Its ultimate fate is not known. It had a wingspan of approximately 10 m (32 ft 9 in) and a length of approximately 6 m (19 ft 8 in).
