History:
The Kermit was a single-seat ultra-light aircraft designed and built in Australia and made its first flight in 1999. It was fitted with a Rotax 503 engine driving a Sweetapple two-blade propeller. The registration 10-001, the first RAA registration, was allotted to it in 1995 but this was a re-issue of the original registration. It was painted as 10-01 on the tail and wing. In 2014, after 400 hours total time it was retired and presented to and placed on display at the Queensland Air Museum at Caloundra.
Cruising speed 96 km/h (60 mph); stalling speed 72 km/h (45mph); empty weight 172 kg (379 lb).
