History:
This is an amphibian designed and built by prolific designer and builder, Steven Cohen, at Wedderburn, NSW, with work commencing in 2018 and continuing into 2019. It is quite a large aircraft of unusual design fitted with an engine mounted above the fuselage on a pylon and twin tails. It is fitted out with a bed, a kitchen and bathroom and ground testing began on land and water at Wedderburn on 20 September 2019. Power plant is a Rotax 912 and it has been registered with the RAA as 19-1653. Some testing on water was carried out in a dam at Wedderburn, and from Lake Illawarra on the NSW south coast. The aircraft has also become known as the Spaceship 2.
