History:
The Cli-Mate commenced life as a Foxcon Terrier 200 but received some major changes during its construction. It initially became ZK-EZY² (c/n NZ2006) and was registered on 21 July 2004 to the Paul Hopper and Rex Swenson Partnership. The aircraft is fitted with a Rotax 912 engine and for some years was based at a private strip not far from the North Shore aerodrome north of Auckland, New Zealand. Some structural strengthening was carried out to the aircraft, with some customisation to the fin and rudder, the fuselage was lengthened and changes were made to the wings. Initially it was fitted with end-plates on the wings but these were changed in 2015 to the wing-tips turning down similar to some modified Cessnas and Pipers. It was re-designated as a Cli-Mate Cli-Mate 100, still being registered ZK-EZY² but with a new construction number (c/n CL04001).
