History:
The Nova is a single-seat low-wing all-composite high-performance light aircraft designed and built by Walter Szajnoha of Hazelbrook, NSW, being registered under ultra-light regulations as 19-4078. Powered by a 60 kw (80 hp) Jabiru 2200 four-cylinder engine, the first aircraft completed was test flown from The Oaks in western Sydney in early 2006, its performance and handling proving satisfactory. Later Mr Szajnoha designed and commenced construction of a two-seat side-by-side variant known as the Super Nova. Max speed 270 km/h (169 mph).
