History:

TheLR.1 was an unmanned pylon racer design known as the ‘Little Ripper’ whereas the LR.2 was an ultralight aircraft design by Arthur Armour, initially of Fairfield, NSW, being a development of the LR-2 design. Mr Armour later moved to Taree, NSW and continued design and construction of ultralight aircraft there. Work commenced on the LR-1 before Mr Armour moved to Taree and was never completed, work continuing for a period on the LR-2. However, after sometime work was shelved and the aircraft hung in the designers hangar until time permits its completion.
