History:
The Aero Composite UD-2 Corella (c/n 1) was one of a number of designs produced by prolific light aircraft designer, Steven Cohen, in Sydney. Known as the UD-2 (Ugly Duckling 2) it was of alloy construction and fitted with a Rotax two-stroke engine. It was a single-seat, mid-wing aircraft with a tailwheel undercarriage. Only the prototype was completed and it was registered with the Recreational Aviation Australia (RAA) as 19-3130 on 13 March 1999. It was fitted with a Hirth 2706 engine and has been described on the RAA Register as an Aero Composite UD-2.
