History:
The Aerolite light aircraft series was constructed and marketed in the early 1990s by Australian Aviation Works of Donvale, VIC, the prototype being placed on display at the Australian International Airshow at Avalon, VIC. It was of wood, tubular steel and fabric construction and has been fitted with a variety of engines from the Rotax stable, including the 503, 532, 582 and 618, but other engines such as the Jabiru 2200 could be installed. A few examples have been registered under RAA Regulations.
