History:
This aircraft commenced life as a Micro Aviation B-22 Bantam but was modified to some extent by the owner/builder, John Black, of Ngaruawahia, New Zealand. The aircraft had the wing strengthened with an aluminium leading edge, extra stiffeners and an extra rib inboard. The cockpit was fully enclosed and was fitted with a Lexan opening door on each side. The wings were covered with Superflight fabric instead of dacron and is fitted with a Rotax 582 engine.
Sponsorship for the aircraft was received from Independent Liquor. The aircraft was registered as ZK-VOK (c/n 03-185) on 13 February 2004.
