The Fisher Avenger was part of a range of ultralight aircraft produced by Fisher Flying Products of Edgeley, North Dakota in the United States and was a single-seat monoplane with a Rotax engine of 30 kw (40 hp) but engines ranging up to 48 kw (65 hp) could be installed. It was designed to accommodate a 1.94 m (6 ft 4 in) 122 kg (270 lb) pilot. Construction was all-wood with fabric covering.
More than 150 kits have been sold around the world. The manufacturer’s kit included everything except the engine.
More than 200 examples have been built world wide and a small number have been built in this region. Australian aircraft have been registered under Recreational Aviation Australia Regulations (RAA).
