History:
The Bingo was one of a series of light sport aircraft produced in kit form for the amateur constructor by ICP Aviazione srl of Piova Massaia in Italy. It was an ultralight STOL (short take-off and landing) aircraft with side-by-side seating, a single high wing, and a tricycle undercarriage. It was of all-metal construction. It was similar in structure to the Savannah, differing in some minor details in relation to the engine mounts, cowlings, and equipment. A variety of engines could be installed, including the Rotax 503, Rotax 582, the Victor2 and two of the HKS series, the standard engine and the turbocharged variant.
A number of examples have been imported to this region by the importers, Outback Aircraft Pty Ltd of Mareeba, QLD, and have been registered under Recreational Aviation Australia (RAA) Regulations. One of the first registered was 19-4192 (c/n 04-02-51-279), followed by 19-4330 (c/n 03-11-52-248) and others.
