History:
Following the announcement of Henry Kremer in the United Kingdom inviting interested parties to design and build an aircraft to make the first successful flight of a man powered aircraft around the world many groups got together and designed and built aircraft hoping to win the prize. One of these aircraft was built in 1963 in Australia by a Mr Knipe, this machine having a flying-wing of delta platform which was powered by two exhaust turbines, these being operated by a set of bicycle pedals. It seems that the aircraft was never flown and was not successful.
