History:
The Voodoo was an Australian designed two-seat light touring monoplane powered by a 119-kw (160-hp) Lycoming O-320 engine and with an empty weight of 494 kg (1,090 lb). Designed and built by Vince Manciagli in Townsville, Qld, it was similar in size and shape to a Piper Super Cub, seated two in tandem, and had a high-tech computer designed wing aimed at giving it exceptional STOL capabilities. The prototype (VH-NVQ – c/n 9007) was first registered on 12 November 1998. Ownership was transferred to Steven Soley of Malanda, Q in November 2011.
