History:
The Maggie was a single-seat light sporting monoplane of all metal construction. It was a three axis machine and when completed by its builder / designer, an RAAF fitter, it was fitted with a Volkswagen Pobjoy cam engine with a twin Wegner ignition system. It was fitted with Stratomaster instruments and an Aerocab carburettor. It had two fuel tanks with a total capacity of 80 (17.6 Imp gals) and used approximately 14 litres (3 Imp gal) of fuel per hour. It is believed to have been built by Glen Frohling and was based at Wedderburn, NSW. Cruising speed at 3,000 rpm 148 km/h (92 km/h).
