History:
The Fusion 212 is a development of the Corvus Fusion two-seat fully-composite sport and training aircraft and has been produced in some numbers in the Czech Republic. The Corvus Fusion was built for sometime until the manufacturer ran into problems. The development of the design and its production were taken over by a series of investors, which led to the Fusion 212 which was shown at Aero Friedrichshafen in Germany.
Power is provided by a 75 kw (100 hp) Rotax 912 ULS 2 engine driving a DUC Inconel Flash three-blade propeller, but it can also be fitted with a Power 260 engine of similar power. It is fitted with a recovery system and this can be the Junkers Magnum Light-speed Softpack Ballistic system or the Junkers Magnum 601 Ballistic system.
First example of the type arrived in Australia in mid-2018 and was registered with the RAA, becoming 23-2212 (c/n MF-212-17-001), the type being marketed from Archerfield Airport, QLD by Flight Scope Aviation. In September 2019 an aircraft described as a Corvis Hungary Ltd Corvus was registered as VH-XUH at Hepburn Springs, VIC.
