History:
This aircraft was a one-off design by Douglas McIlwraith based in Biddaddaba, QLD who initially wished to build a replica of a Monocoupe and in the end built a biplane of his own design fitted with a six-cylinder Jabiru engine providing 89-kw (120-hp), this engine being fitted with liquid-cooled heads. The aircraft was built in a shed on a farm. Seating was provided for two and there were two individual doors, one on each side. The aircraft was completed in late 2017 and was registered with the RAA as 19-8797 (c/n not known). It climbed at 244 m/min (800 ft/min) and cruised at 2800 rpm at 167 km/h (104 mph).
