History:
In 1925 George Murray of Goulburn, NSW, a carpenter, commenced construction of a small aircraft powered by a twin-cylinder converted motor-cycle engine. It was a monoplane and was initially fitted with a 6.7-kw (9-hp) V-twin motorcycle engine but was found to be under-powered. After some taxiing tests attempts were made to obtain a more powerful engine. The aircraft was of wooden construction with wire bracing, with fabric covering.
Wingspan 6.07 m (19 ft 10 in); length 4.35 m (14 ft 3 in); height 1.4 m (4 ft 6 in); wing area 6.87 m² (74 sq ft); max speed 105 km/h (65 mph); loaded weight 202 kg (445 lb).
