The Kiebitz B was designed as a light touring and sporting biplane in Germany by Mr Michael Platzer at Guxhagen and is available to amateur builders in kit form. Construction is of steel tube fuselage and wings with fabric covering. A variety of engines may be installed, including the Nissan Micra, variants of the Rotax, and the Sauer. Seating is for two. The first of the type seen in this region was built by Dieter Sedlbauer and was registered in 2003 under AUF regulations as 19-5417.
