History:
In mid 1926 Mr Edwin Prosser of Rockhampton, QLD enquired of the Comptroller of Civil Aviation if it was necessary to obtain a Certificate of Airworthiness for a light aircraft, indicating he was building a monoplane. The aircraft had been constructed with a converted Indian motor-cycle engine of 1000-cc which provided some 13.4-kw (18-hp) at 3,000 rpm. The aircraft was inspected and found to be built of hoop pine and plywood, screwed together, was of inferior workmanship, and the construction was reported to be unorthodox. Records indicate the materials used were found not to be suitable for aviation use. Mr Prosser informed the Department that a number of short straight flights had been made but the aircraft suffered from lack of power. The ultimate fate of the machine is not known.
