History:
The S-4 and S-5 Coyote I series of ultralight aircraft was introduced to the Company’s range in 1983 at its facility at Hays, Kansas, USA. Available in kit form, it is able to be built in a short time as pre-finished parts, pre-sewn skins, and other parts are available in the kit. Assembly is said to be easy for the first-time builder. It may be built in tricycle or tailwheel configuration. Some hundreds have been built around the world and the kit included the engine, propeller and instruments. Power is usually provided by the Rotax 447 engine but the 37 kw (50 hp) Rotax 503 engine is available also. A number have been completed and flown under RAA regulations in Australia.
