History:
The Revelation was a two-seat light sporting aircraft usually registered in the ultralight category produced by Slipstream Industries Inc in the United States. It was the result of a deemed requirement for a two-seat training type for that part of the market. The design team started with one of its other products, the Genesis, and developed it to meet this role.
The building process was simplified and Dacron sails were developed for the wings and tail section The weight was reduced by removing the fibreglass enclosure, some fabric area and some paint. It was available in kit form and all welding, fabrication and most of the drilling was performed at the manufacturer’s factory.
More than 100 examples have been sold around the world. Engines in the 40 kw (53 hp) up to 86 kw (115 hp) range have beeen installed. A few examples have been completed in this region, including 19-3434 (c/n Re 00/0004) fitted with a Jabiru 2200 engine.
