History:
The Shuttle was an ultralight aircraft produced in the late 1980s and early 1990s and had a high wing and an enclosed single-seat cockpit. It was a three-axis aircraft with flaperons, tundra tyres, differential hydraulic brakes, flaperons and was powered by a Rotax 503CDI engine driving a Warp drive ground adjustable two-blade propeller. A number were registered with Recreation Aviation Australia (RAA), at least three examples being completed, including Mk 1 10-0050, Mk 2 19-3719 (c/n 3), and Mk 2 10-3074. Cruising speed 130 km (81 mph). This may be the same aircraft as the Shuttle Mk II [see above].
