History:
The TL Ultralight Stream is one of a series of light sport aircraft produced in the Czech Republic by TL Ultralight of Hradec Kralove and is a two-seat aircraft for private use. It is aimed at the high-performance end of the market and the prototype (OK-UUA-99) was flown for the first time on 8 September 2015. Three engines are available, the Rotax 912ULS and 912iS, and the turbocharged 914 driving a three-blade PowerMax propeller.
The Rotax 912ULS series engine is a four-cylinder, four-stroke, with liquid-cooled cylinder heads and air-cooled cylinders, a dry sump with forced lubrication with a three-litre separate oil tank. It has automatic adjustment by hydraulic valve tappets, two carburettors with constant pressure in a diffuser, mechanical fuel pumps, contactless electronic dual ignition with two circuits, electric starter and propeller speed reduction of 1:2.43.
The aircraft is manufactured from Kevlar and carbon fibre, and has dual controls. It has a tricycle undercarriage and braked wheels on the main undercarriage. The cockpit has a Garmin G3X touch instrument system.
The Stream is marketed in this part of the world by TL Ultralight Australia Pty Ltd / KG Aviation Australia and the first example arrived in Australia in early 2019.
